As part of the Ministry of Urban Development’s Smart City Challenge, the Durgapur Municipal Corporation is launching a video competition for all residents of Durgapur above age 18.

Entries are to be submitted to: www.mygov.in

Eligibility: All residents of Durgapur city above age 18 on October 31, 2015

Rules: Create a video showcasing your vision of Smart City Durgapur. The video should convey the vision of the Durgapur of tomorrow that will include the elements of a truly smart city. Videos are to be uploaded on www.youtube.com and the link to the same must be shared on www.mygov.in.

Possible sub-topics may include:

• Infrastructure improvements ideas
• Smart solutions for online community engagement in urban development
• Reduction of resource wastage proposals
• Smart development implementation plans for small areas

Last date for submission is 31st October, 2015.

FIRST PRIZE: Rs 2000 (Two Thousand Only)

1. The winner shall be chosen on the basis of originality, creativity and relevance to the idea of Smart City we are seeking to build.
2. The Name, D.O.B and contact information of the participant must be mentioned clearly in your submission.
3. The decision of Durgapur Municipal Corporation for selecting the winner shall be treated as final.
4. Plagiarism in any form will not be tolerated and such entries will be disqualified.
