As part of the logo design contest, the citizens are invited to suggest a suitable logo for Ahmedabad Smart City. Contestants are free to choose a theme / colour scheme for the logo.
Conditions
Minimum Size of Logo: 1” x 1” (1 inch wide by 1 inch high)
Last Day for Submission of Entries is 20th October, 2015.
Logo shall not include any material (photograph, icon, symbol etc) that is copyright protected
Winners
The best 3 entries would be declared as winners.
Prize Money (Cash / Vouchers / Gift items*):
• 1st Prize: Rs. 15,000/-
• 2nd Prize: Rs. 10,000/-
• 3rd Prize: Rs. 5,000/-
• Consolation Prizes (10 nos.): Rs. 2,000/- each
The winning logo can be adopted by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) as an official logo for Ahmedabad Smart City*.
*AMC reserves the right to select the prize winners and to use the logo as the official logo for Ahmedabad Smart City

Why I have Done this logo.
I have used Triangles, Triangle itself is Properly Balanced Shape, Trustable Shape & it shows Growth.
Blue colour shows Strength, Trust, Confidence, Reliable, Peace.
Green shows the Nature & Long way to go.
Brown shows Genuine, Stable, Organic.
Logo is Plain, Simple, Clean any one can Understand that its An A for Ahmedabad.
Our city is Big, Heavy, Strengthen logo refers to that.
Smart Ahmedabad is suppose to be like this.
ahmedabad according to me is a city which can easily accomplish the target of a smart city.in this logo mainly i have tried to point out some features through which the city can become smart by the same alpabetic letters of word ahmedabad which you can notice carefully in logo.by proving pedestrian space,using bicycles,samrt buildings,smart water,energy,city can acheive its target,building linked through ems..i apologize for low pixelated quality of logo due to some technical reasons

Concept: Steps represent growth & different stages of smart city mission
It also represents core infrastructure elements of a Smart City. i.e
a)sanitation, including solid waste management , sustainable environment
b)safety and security of citizens, particularly women, children and elderly
c)IT connectivity and digitalization
d)adequate water supply
e)affordable housing
f)efficient urban mobility and public transport
Multiple colors depicts multi facilities attached with the mission.
Concept : Logo represents elements of Smart City Idea. Infrastructure, green energy, connectivity, sustainable life, high rise buildings, internet connectivity(digital infrastructure)& of course collective efforts of citizens make Smart City objective fulfilled. All these elements are included in the logo.Hence, it is easy to remember & relate with concept of Smart City. For Ahmedabad city resemblance , famous building of Patang has been added in other two logo which is strong identity of city.

Logo for Smart City Ahmedabad - A is represented by Gandhiji and symbols of Hindi Script, h signifies Rural integration, m signifies Medical facilities, e - egovernance, d - signifies low emission factory, a - shows mobile phone, b also signifies low emission manufacturing, a shows Wi-Fi and lastly d shows clean energy - solar power which powers the city and it is flanked by green grass and clean drinking water in the river.
